Hirano Gogaku (1811 – 1893)
A zen priest at the Ganseiji in Hida. Studied Nanga painting on his own, following the style of Tanomura Chikuden (1777 - 1835). Specialised in landscapes. One of the most important Nanga painters from the Meiji -period.
