Uejima Hozan (1875 – 1920)
Hozan was born in Osaka. He studied under Kimura Kanzan
(1835 - ) who was a pupil of Maruyama Oritsu. He died by the time his fame was beginning to equal that of Uemura Shoen ( 1875-1949).
