Pine tree and sun -
Suzuki Shonen (1849 – 1918)
Son and pupil of Suzuki Hyakunen (1825 – 1891). Shonen was a skilled painter and kachoga. His pine trees were particular popular and famous. In his later years he was an extremely influential person in Kyoto art circles.
